Gavin Arnet

Gavin Arnet has had a long association with Waiheke Island.  Gavin's family have had a bach at Onetangi for nearly 60 years.  Gavin spent a lot of his time growing up on the Island before studying law at the University of Waikato. He graduated BMS LLB in 2004. 

Gavin specialises in Commercial Law, Property Law, Trusts, Wills, Estates and Succession Planning. He also has professional links to other specialists in all areas of the law. Clients can be referred to these specialists if appropriate. 

Outside of the office Gavin has twin daughters Michaela and Mae, and Stella who was born in May 2015. Gavin enjoys playing tennis and going to the gym when he gets time. He also helps out on his parents’ farm. Gavin enjoys socialising with family and friends and is a passionate wine connoisseur. Gavin also chairs the Life Education Trust Counties Manukau and puts as much time and energy into this as he can. 

Miriam Arnet

Miriam graduated from Victoria University of Wellington with degrees in Law and Criminology. Miriam was admitted to the bar in 2003 and began her legal career in a well-respected, boutique central Auckland firm. In 2009 Miriam joined a large Waikato based law firm where she was an Associate in the Litigation team, leading the Family Law group within that team.

​Miriam is a Family Law expert, dealing with all manner of Family Law issues, including: relationship property (both post separation settlements and “prenups”), parenting disputes, domestic violence and estate matters.

Miriam regularly appears in Court but also assists clients to negotiate privately where possible. Whether advocating for her clients in the Court room or through private negotiation, her aim is always to assist clients to obtain the best possible result.

​Outside the office, Miriam loves being the busy Mum to three young girls. She likes keeping fit and also enjoys Waiheke’s wine and beaches.

Hannah Rawnsley

Hannah was educated at Saint Kentigern College and the University of Waikato. She graduated with a LLB, went on to complete her Professional Legal Studies Course and was admitted to the bar mid 2018.

 

Hannah specialises in all areas of Family Law.

 

Outside the office, Hannah enjoys keeping active and exploring the outdoors.

 

Hannah is a devoted and passionate young lawyer who is looking forward to supporting you with your next legal matter. 

Uno Song

Uno joined Hauraki Gulf Law in March 2019, following experience gained at another Auckland CBD law firm. He is now a part of the Commercial and Property team at HGLaw.

 

Born in South Korea, migrated to New Zealand in 1995 at the age of 12 spent his formative years in Whangarei and has been in love with Aotearoa ever since.

 

Uno went to St Paul’s Collegiate School in Hamilton and gained his LLB from the University of Waikato and was admitted to the bar right after. Prior to studying law Uno was a qualified chef and owned his own restaurant.

 

Outside the office, Uno enjoys the beach with his three little princesses. Uno, a professional multi-instrumentalist, has a great passion for music and loves having jam sessions with his band mates whenever he finds spare time.

Anna Bell

Anna joined Hauraki Gulf Law in May 2019 as our receptionist.

She is a long time island resident and has a great local knowledge.

Prior to having a child she worked in a Auckland CBD law firm. Her admin skills are fantastic and a real asset to our firm.

In her spare time she enjoys spending quality time with her 3 year old daughter and husband.
